Set up the board and place each player’s 4 pawns in their matching Start area
Shuffle the cards and place the deck face down
Choose a player to go first
On your turn, draw 1 card and follow its instructions
Move a pawn out of Start only with a 1 or 2, or as allowed by a card
Move pawns along the track in the direction shown by the board
If a card says to move backward, move your pawn backward that number of spaces
If a card says to split moves, divide the movement between two pawns as allowed
If you land on an opponent’s pawn, send that pawn back to its Start area
You cannot land on or pass through your own pawns
Use Slides when you land on the colored start space of a slide that is not your own
Move to the end of the slide and send any pawns on slide spaces back to Start
Enter your Home space by exact count if required by the card or rule set
A pawn must reach Home to be safe
If you cannot make a legal move, do nothing and end your turn
The first player to get all 4 pawns into Home wins
