Check local laws and get consent before recording any call
Use a call-recording app that supports iPhone and your region
Start a three-way call through the recording service if required
Use built-in recording only if your iPhone model and iOS version support it
Open the Phone app and place the call
Tap the Record button if available during the call
Follow the on-screen prompt to notify the other person if required
Stop the recording when finished
Save the recording in Voice Memos or the Files app if prompted
Review the recording in the app or storage location used
Use speakerphone and another device to record if no iPhone recording option is available
Save and back up the recording immediately after the call
