Power off the device
Wash and dry your hands
Peel up one corner of the screen guard using a fingernail or a plastic card
Lift the screen guard slowly and evenly
Pull it off at a low angle
Use a hair dryer on low heat for a few seconds if it is stuck
Avoid using metal tools
Remove any remaining adhesive with a microfiber cloth
Clean the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth
Check the screen for residue or dust
