Open Instagram and go to your profile
Tap the menu icon
Tap Your activity
Tap Recent searches
Clear your search history
Open posts you like and tap Not interested on content you want to remove
Avoid interacting with posts you do not want to see
Unfollow accounts that influence unwanted recommendations
Mute or restrict accounts that affect your feed
Clear Instagram app cache on your device
Log out and log back in
Reinstall the Instagram app if needed
Use the search bar and explore page normally for a while to retrain recommendations
