Open Instagram and go to the post, profile, story, or reel you want to share
Tap the paper airplane or share icon
Select the option to copy the link if available
Paste the link into a direct message, bio, caption, or external app
To share a profile link, open the profile, tap the three dots, and choose Copy Profile URL
To share a post link, open the post, tap the three dots, and choose Copy Link
To share a reel link, open the reel, tap the share icon, and choose Copy Link
To share a story link, tap the share icon if the story allows sharing, then copy or send the link
If you want to share an Instagram link outside the app, paste it into text, email, or social media
Make sure the account or content is public if you want others to access the link
