Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)
Spread almonds in a single layer on a baking sheet
Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, stirring once halfway through
Remove when lightly golden and fragrant
Let cool completely before using
Or toast in a dry skillet over medium heat
Add almonds in a single layer
Stir frequently for 3 to 7 minutes
Remove from heat when golden and aromatic
Transfer to a plate to cool
