Turn on the new iPhone and place it near the old iPhone
Make sure both iPhones are connected to Wi-Fi and have enough battery
On the new iPhone, follow the setup screen until Quick Start appears
On the old iPhone, tap Continue when prompted
Scan the animation on the new iPhone with the old iPhone camera
Enter the old iPhone passcode on the new iPhone
Set up Face ID or Touch ID on the new iPhone
Choose Transfer from iPhone to move data directly
Keep both iPhones close together until the transfer finishes
Sign in to your Apple ID if prompted
Restore apps, photos, messages, and settings from iCloud if needed
Use iCloud Backup if Quick Start is not available
On the old iPhone, go to Settings, tap your name, tap iCloud, tap iCloud Backup, then tap Back Up Now
On the new iPhone, choose Restore from iCloud Backup during setup
Sign in with your Apple ID and select the latest backup
Use a computer and Finder or iTunes if you prefer a wired transfer
Connect the old iPhone to the computer and create a backup
Connect the new iPhone to the computer and restore the backup
Keep both devices updated to the latest iOS version
Check that SIM or eSIM service is activated on the new iPhone
Verify that photos, contacts, messages, and apps transferred correctly
