Use the keyboard brightness keys, usually the sun icons on the top row
On Windows, open Quick Settings with Windows + A and move the brightness slider
Go to Settings > System > Display and adjust the Brightness slider
On a laptop, use the manufacturer’s function key combo, such as Fn + brightness key
If using an external monitor, use the monitor’s physical buttons or on-screen menu
Open Action Center or Quick Settings and lower the brightness if available
Use the graphics control panel, such as Intel Graphics, NVIDIA Control Panel, or AMD Software
Enable battery saver mode to reduce screen brightness automatically
Turn on Night light or similar display settings if you want a softer screen appearance
