Open FPS Monitor
Launch the game or app you want to monitor
Enable the in-game overlay in FPS Monitor settings
Choose the overlay position on the screen
Select the metrics you want to display
Make sure FPS is enabled in the overlay list
Apply the settings
Return to the game
Check the FPS counter on the screen
