How To Make Salsa Verde?

1 lb tomatillos, husked and rinsed

1/2 white onion

1 to 2 jalapeƱos or serranos

2 cloves garlic

1/2 cup cilantro

1 lime, juiced

1/2 tsp salt

Boil or roast the tomatillos, onion, and peppers until softened

Blend the tomatillos, onion, peppers, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and salt until smooth

Taste and adjust salt or lime juice

Serve chilled or at room temperature
