Turn off the oven and let it cool completely
Remove oven racks, trays, and loose debris
Wipe out crumbs and loose food with a dry cloth or vacuum
Mix baking soda with water to form a paste
Spread the paste on the inside surfaces, avoiding heating elements and vents
Let it sit for several hours or overnight
Wipe the interior with a damp cloth
Spray or wipe with vinegar to remove residue, if needed
Scrub stubborn spots with a non-abrasive sponge
Clean the oven door glass with a suitable cleaner or baking soda paste
Rinse all surfaces with a clean damp cloth
Dry the interior completely
Wash racks separately with warm soapy water
Reinstall racks once everything is dry
Run the oven briefly empty if needed to remove remaining moisture or odor
