Make sure Bluetooth is on and your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version
Remove the AirTag plastic tab to activate it
Hold the AirTag near your iPhone
Tap Connect when the setup card appears
Choose a name for the AirTag
Register the AirTag to your Apple ID
Tap Continue and then Done
Open the Find My app to view the AirTag
If the setup card does not appear, open the Find My app, tap Items, then tap Add Item, then tap AirTag
If needed, replace the AirTag battery and try again
