Quick Start: Place both iPhones near each other
Turn on Bluetooth for both iPhones
Follow the on-screen Quick Start prompt on the new iPhone
Verify the Apple ID and confirm the device-to-device transfer
Keep both devices connected to power and Wi‑Fi until the transfer finishes
iCloud (if you prefer): On the old iPhone, go to Settings > your name > iCloud > iCloud Backup
Tap Back Up Now and wait for completion
On the new iPhone, sign in with the same Apple ID
During setup, choose Restore from iCloud Backup
Choose the most recent backup and complete setup
iCloud (manual): On the old iPhone, enable iCloud syncing for apps like Photos, Contacts, Calendars, and Notes
Sign in with the same Apple ID on the new iPhone and let syncing complete
Transfer via Finder/iTunes (computer): Connect the old iPhone to your computer
Open Finder (macOS Catalina and later) or iTunes (Windows or earlier macOS)
Select the iPhone and choose Back Up Now (encrypt backup if prompted)
Connect the new iPhone to the computer
Choose Restore Backup and select the backup you created
Complete setup on the new iPhone
Move data after setup: Install and sign in to the same apps on the new iPhone
For purchases and subscriptions: Use the same Apple ID and restore purchases automatically during setup
For SIM/eSIM: Transfer your SIM/eSIM if needed using your carrier instructions
For WhatsApp (if applicable): Use WhatsApp’s in-app backup/restore process after transferring iPhone data
