Open the Facebook app or website
Go to the group, page, or story where you want to create the poll
Click Create post or Write something
Select Poll if the option is available
Enter your poll question
Add answer choices
Set any available poll options
Review the poll
Click Post or Publish
If Poll is not available, use a Facebook Story poll sticker instead
Open Stories
Create or upload a story
Tap the Sticker icon
Select Poll
Type your question and answer choices
Share the story
