Open Facebook and go to your profile
Tap your profile picture or cover photo
Select the photo you want to make private
Tap the three dots menu
Tap Edit privacy
Choose Only me
Tap Done or Save
To change album privacy, go to your profile
Tap Photos
Open Albums
Select the album
Tap the three dots menu
Tap Edit
Change the audience to Only me
Save the changes
To limit future photo visibility, go to Settings & privacy
Tap Settings
Tap Audience and visibility
Tap Posts
Set Who can see your future posts to Friends or Only me
To hide tagged photos, go to Settings & privacy
Tap Settings
Tap Profile and tagging
Adjust who can see posts you’re tagged in
Turn on review for tags if needed
To remove a photo from public view, delete it if privacy options are not available
Open the photo
Tap the three dots menu
Tap Delete photo
Confirm deletion
