Open the Facebook app or website
Go to Settings and privacy
Select Settings
Tap or click Media
Find Autoplay
Choose Never Autoplay Videos
On mobile, you may also need to adjust Video and Photo settings
On desktop, disable autoplay for videos in the Video settings section
