Open Instagram and find the photo you want to save
If it is your own photo, open the post and use the three-dot menu
Select Save, Bookmark, or Download if the option is available
If you want all your Instagram data, go to Settings and privacy
Open Accounts Center
Select Your information and permissions
Choose Download your information
Request a copy of your data and wait for the download link
If you are using a computer, you can take a screenshot of the photo
If the photo is publicly available, use the platform’s built-in sharing or save options only if permitted
Ask the account owner for permission before saving or using their photo
Avoid third-party downloader tools that may violate privacy or Instagram rules
