How To Format MLA?

Use 1-inch margins on all sides

Use a readable 12-point font, usually Times New Roman

Double-space the entire paper

Align text to the left

Indent the first line of each paragraph 0.5 inches

Leave one space after periods

Include a header with your last name and page number in the top right corner

Put your name, instructor’s name, course name, and date in the upper left corner of the first page
