Apply window decals, films, or tape in a dense pattern
Use external screens on the outside of windows
Close blinds or curtains to reduce reflections
Install UV bird-deterrent window treatments
Place bird-safe markers on the outside of glass
Break up reflections by adding awnings, shades, or netting
Move indoor plants away from windows
Position feeders either very close to windows or far away from them
Turn off unnecessary indoor lights at night
Use exterior shutters or louvers
Clean windows regularly to improve visibility of barriers
Replace clear glass with bird-safe glass or patterned glass
Cover large reflective surfaces with temporary barriers during peak migration periods
