Wash and dry the cherries
Remove the stems
Hold a cherry over a bowl
Insert a chopstick, straw, piping tip, or cherry pitter where the stem was
Push the pit out the other side
Repeat for each cherry
Discard the pits and stems
Rinse the pitted cherries if needed
