Gather two lightweight sticks, paper or plastic, string, tape or glue, and scissors
Lay the sticks in a cross shape
Tie or tape the sticks together at the center
Cut the paper or plastic into a diamond shape larger than the frame
Place the frame on the paper or plastic
Fold the edges over the sticks and tape or glue them down
Tie string around the top, bottom, left, and right ends of the frame
Attach the flying string to the center point where the strings meet
Add a tail made of ribbon or strips of cloth to the bottom of the kite
Test the kite in a windy open area
