1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon cold water
Combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a small saucepan
Bring to a simmer over medium heat
Mix cornstarch with cold water until smooth
Stir cornstarch mixture into the saucepan
Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until thickened
Remove from heat and cool slightly
Use immediately or store in the refrigerator
