How To Produce Molasses?

Harvest sugarcane or sugar beets

Wash and prepare the raw material

Crush or slice the material to extract juice

Filter the juice to remove solids

Heat the juice in evaporators to concentrate it

Boil the concentrated juice to form syrup

Remove sugar crystals as they form

Continue boiling the remaining liquid until it becomes thick molasses

Cool the molasses

Filter and package the finished molasses
