Wash the area with car shampoo and water
Soak a microfiber cloth in warm water and place it on the sap for a few minutes
Gently wipe the softened sap away
Use rubbing alcohol or a dedicated tar and sap remover on a microfiber cloth
Rub lightly until the sap lifts off
Rinse the area with clean water
Wash the spot again with car shampoo
Dry the area with a clean microfiber towel
Apply car wax or paint sealant after cleaning
Repeat if any sap remains
Avoid scraping with sharp tools or abrasive pads
