Park the vehicle in a shaded area
Lower the window slightly
Peel up a corner of the tint with a razor blade or fingernail
Pull the tint off slowly at a shallow angle
Spray the adhesive with soapy water, ammonia solution, or adhesive remover
Let the solution soak into the adhesive
Scrape off remaining film and glue with a plastic scraper or razor blade
Wipe the glass clean with microfiber towels
Repeat on any stubborn spots
Clean the window with glass cleaner
Dispose of removed tint and residue properly
