Open Settings
Tap Face ID & Passcode or Touch ID & Passcode
Enter your passcode
Scroll to Security Delay or Stolen Device Protection
Turn off Stolen Device Protection if it is enabled
If prompted, authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID
Wait for the security delay to finish if Apple requires it
Return to the setting and confirm it is off
