Find a horse in a plains, savanna, or similar biome
Make sure you have empty hands
Right-click or tap the horse to mount it
Keep getting back on after it bucks you off
Repeat until hearts appear
Open the horse’s inventory and equip a saddle
Use the horse to ride around once tamed
