Open the worksheet in Tableau
Identify the X-axis and Y-axis fields on the Rows and Columns shelves
Drag the measure or dimension from the Rows shelf to the Columns shelf
Drag the measure or dimension from the Columns shelf to the Rows shelf
If needed, click the Swap button on the toolbar to switch the axes
Adjust the Marks card and chart type if the view changes unexpectedly
Verify the axis labels and formatting after swapping
