Tap the menu icon
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Accounts Center or Your activity, depending on your app version
Tap Recent searches or Search history
Tap Clear all
Confirm the action
To remove individual suggestions, tap the search bar
Tap the X next to a suggested account or search term
On iPhone or Android, you can also clear app cache through device settings if suggestions still appear
Log out and log back in if needed
