Hold your cat gently and securely
Press the paw pad to extend one claw
Identify the pink quick and avoid cutting it
Trim only the sharp tip of each nail
Clip one or two nails at a time if needed
Stop if your cat becomes stressed or struggles
Reward your cat after each session
