How To Delete Rows In Excel?

Select the row or rows you want to delete

Right-click the selected row header

Click Delete

Or press Ctrl + –

Choose Entire row if prompted

Click OK

To delete multiple non-adjacent rows, hold Ctrl and select each row header before deleting

To delete adjacent rows, drag across the row headers to select them first

To delete blank rows, use Find & Select > Go To Special > Blanks, then delete the selected rows

To delete rows with filters, apply a filter, select the visible rows, and delete them

To delete rows using the ribbon, go to Home > Delete > Delete Sheet Rows
