Check for iOS 26 availability in your region on Apple’s website
Back up your iPhone to iCloud or your computer
Connect your iPhone to power and Wi‑Fi
Open Settings
Tap General
Tap Software Update
Tap Download and Install (or Install Now)
Enter your passcode if prompted
Accept the terms and conditions if prompted
Keep your iPhone connected until the update completes
Verify the update under Settings → General → About → iOS Version
If no update appears:
Ensure your iPhone supports iOS 26
Confirm you’re connected to stable Wi‑Fi
Wait and check again in Settings → General → Software Update
Restart your iPhone and re-check for updates
