Open Settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Tap your name at the top
Scroll down and tap Sign Out
Enter your Apple ID password if prompted
Turn off Find My if asked
Choose whether to keep a copy of your data on the device
Tap Sign Out again to confirm
On a Mac, click the Apple menu
Open System Settings or System Preferences
Click your Apple ID
Click Sign Out
Enter your Apple ID password if prompted
Choose whether to keep a copy of your iCloud data on the Mac
Confirm Sign Out
On iCloud.com, sign out by clicking your account menu
Select Sign Out
On Windows, open iCloud for Windows
Click Sign Out
Confirm the action
If you forgot your Apple ID password, reset it before signing out if needed
