Check that your TV supports Alexa or has Bluetooth/HDMI-ARC/eARC, optical, or a compatible streaming device
Connect the TV to a speaker using Bluetooth, HDMI-ARC/eARC, optical cable, or the speaker’s own audio connection
Open the Alexa app on your phone
Tap Devices
Tap the plus icon
Tap Add Device
Select TV or select the brand/service if prompted
Follow the on-screen setup steps to link the TV to Alexa
Sign in to the TV manufacturer account if required
Enable the TV’s Alexa skill in the Alexa app if needed
Turn on the TV and the speaker
Set the speaker as the TV’s audio output in the TV sound settings
If using a Fire TV device, connect it to the TV and pair the speaker in Fire TV audio settings
If using an Echo speaker, pair it to the TV through Bluetooth settings on the TV or Alexa app
Make sure the TV and Alexa device are on the same Wi-Fi network
Use voice commands like “Alexa, turn on the TV” or “Alexa, volume up” after setup
