Wash the watermelon
Place it on a cutting board
Cut off both ends
Stand the watermelon upright on one cut end
Slice off the rind in strips from top to bottom
Remove any remaining white rind
Cut the peeled watermelon into thick round slices
Stack a few slices if needed
Cut the slices into long sticks
Trim the sticks to your desired size
Serve or store the sticks in a container
