How To Import Tracked Camera To Unreal Engine?

Export the tracked camera from your tracking software as FBX, Alembic, or a supported camera file format

Make sure the export includes camera transform, focal length, filmback, and any lens data if needed

Open Unreal Engine and create or open your project

Enable the required plugins if using Live Link, Camera Calibration, or third-party tracking integration

Import the camera file into the Content Browser if using FBX or Alembic

Drag the imported camera asset into the level if it appears as an actor

If importing FBX, verify that the camera animation imported correctly

If using Live Link, connect Unreal Engine to the tracking system and start the Live Link source

Create a Cine Camera Actor in the level if the import does not create one automatically

Assign the imported or live-tracked transform data to the Cine Camera Actor

Match the filmback settings in the Cine Camera Actor to the source camera

Match focal length and focus settings to the tracked camera data

Set the correct axis orientation and unit scale if the camera appears offset or rotated incorrectly

Use a Camera Cut Track in Sequencer if you want to play back the tracked camera in a shot

Add the camera to Sequencer and verify the animation timing

Check the imported camera against reference footage for alignment

Save the project after confirming the camera track works correctly
