Run the lid under hot water for 20–30 seconds
Tap the lid edge gently with a spoon
Use a rubber jar opener, silicone grip, or thick dish towel
Wear rubber gloves for better grip
Strike the lid’s edge lightly around the rim
Pry under the lid edge with a spoon to break the seal
Ask someone else to try with a stronger grip
Use a strap wrench or jar opener tool
Loosen the lid by turning it counterclockwise firmly
If needed, puncture the vacuum seal with a can opener or knife tip carefully
