Change Who can see your friends list to Only me
Set Who can look you up using your email address to Friends or Only me
Set Who can look you up using your phone number to Friends or Only me
Turn off search engine linking to your profile
Review and limit past posts
Set profile details like phone number, email, birthday, and hometown to Only me or Friends
Change story privacy settings to Friends or Custom
Review tagging settings and enable tag review
Limit who can send you friend requests
Limit who can see your profile information
Check app and website permissions and remove anything unnecessary
Review active sessions and log out of devices you do not recognize
Use two-factor authentication
Avoid posting public content
Regularly review privacy settings
