Open the group text conversation
Tap the group name or contact list at the top
Select the person you want to remove
Choose Remove from group (or Remove)
Confirm removal if prompted
If you don’t see Remove, ask the person to leave or start a new group without them
If you’re using iMessage and the option is unavailable, create a new group text excluding them and move participants over by starting the new thread
