How To Get Rid Of An Ingrown Toenail Overnight?
You usually cannot fully get rid of an ingrown toenail overnight
Soak the foot in warm water for 15 to 20 minutes
Add Epsom salt if available
Dry the foot completely
Gently lift the nail edge with clean dental floss or a small piece of clean cotton
Do not force the nail if it is too painful
Apply an antiseptic or antibiotic ointment if available
Cover the toe with a clean bandage
Wear open-toe or loose-fitting shoes
Keep pressure off the toe while sleeping
Take an over-the-counter pain reliever if you can safely use it
Do not cut the nail deeper into the corner
Do not dig under the nail with sharp tools
Seek urgent medical care if there is pus, severe redness, swelling, fever, or worsening pain
See a podiatrist if the ingrown nail keeps coming back or does not improve within a day or two
