Download and install the Tumblr app from the App Store or Google Play
Open the app
Sign up for a new account or log in to an existing account
Set up your profile if needed
Use the search bar to find blogs, posts, tags, or topics
Tap the follow button on blogs you want to see in your feed
Scroll through your dashboard to view posts from followed blogs
Tap the heart icon to like a post
Tap the reblog icon to share a post to your own blog
Tap the speech bubble icon to leave a comment if available
Tap the share icon to send a post to others
Tap the plus button to create a new post
Choose a post type such as text, photo, quote, link, chat, audio, or video
Add your content
Add tags to help others find your post
Choose whether to post now or save as a draft
Visit your inbox to view messages, asks, and notifications
Check your activity feed to see interactions on your posts
Go to settings to adjust privacy, notifications, and account options
Switch between multiple blogs if you have more than one
Log out when you are finished using the app
