Open the website in your browser

Click the browser menu

Select Create shortcut, Install app, or More tools

Choose Create shortcut if available

Enter a name for the shortcut

Check Open as window if desired

Click Create

Drag the website tab or address bar icon to the desktop if your browser supports it

On Windows, right-click the desktop, choose New, then Shortcut

Paste the website URL

Click Next

Enter a name for the shortcut

Click Finish

On Mac, open the website in Safari

Drag the URL from the address bar to the desktop

Double-click the shortcut to open the website
