Brush the hair to remove tangles
Part the hair where you want the braid to start
Divide the hair into three equal sections
Cross the right section over the middle section
Cross the left section over the middle section
Add a small section of hair to the right strand
Cross the right strand over the middle section
Add a small section of hair to the left strand
Cross the left strand over the middle section
Repeat alternating sides while adding hair each time
Keep the braid tight and close to the scalp
Continue down the head until all hair is included
Finish with a regular three-strand braid
Secure the end with an elastic band
