How To Do Columns In Word?

Select the text you want in columns, or place the cursor where you want the columns to start

Go to the Layout tab

Click Columns

Choose One, Two, Three, Left, Right, or More Columns

If needed, click More Columns for custom column width and spacing

Apply the setting to the selected text or the whole document

Click OK

To stop columns, go to Layout, click Columns, and choose One
