Thread the lace through the bottom eyelets from the outside in
Make both lace ends even
Cross the left lace over the right lace
Feed each lace end through the next eyelet up on the opposite side
Repeat the crisscross pattern up the shoe
Pull the laces snug after each cross
Keep the lace tension even on both sides
Continue until you reach the top eyelets
Tie the laces with a standard knot
Tuck or adjust the bow as needed
