Clean the glasses’ nose pads and temple areas with rubbing alcohol or lens cleaner, then dry completely
Tighten the screws at the hinges using a small eyeglass screwdriver (turn gently until snug)
If screws are missing or worn, replace them with new eyeglass hinge screws
Adjust the nose pads by gently bending them to better match the shape of your nose (small adjustments only)
If nose pads are loose, tighten any pad screws or replace worn pad hardware
Apply a small amount of clear rubberized anti-slip grip to the inside of the nose pads or temple tips
Replace worn or missing temple-tip sleeves (rubber grips) if they are causing slipping
Use heat-shrink or silicone temple sleeves designed for eyeglasses to improve grip
If the frame is bent, gently reshape the temples and/or bridge using light hand pressure (or have an optician do it)
For persistent looseness at the hinge, have an optician tighten and align the frame
If the frame material is cracked or the hinge is damaged, replace the affected part or have it repaired by an optician
Avoid superglue or strong adhesives on lenses or frames unless specifically designed for eyeglasses
If you have a temporary fix, use a small piece of anti-slip tape on the nose pads (remove carefully to avoid residue)
