Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 5
Select “Record Entire Screen” or “Record Selected Portion”
If recording a portion, drag to select the area
Click “Record”
To stop, click the stop button in the menu bar, or press Command (⌘) + Control + Esc
Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 5
To record audio, choose the microphone option, then select the microphone source
Click “Record”
Open the screenshot/recording settings from the Command (⌘) + Shift + 5 toolbar
Change where recordings are saved using the “Options” menu
