Measure your ring size using an existing ring you wear on the same finger (measure inner diameter in mm and match to a size chart)
Measure your finger circumference with a flexible measuring tape or strip of paper; record the circumference in mm and match to a size chart
Use a ring sizer tool or printable ring-size chart; ensure the scale is printed at 100% and measure against the correct band
Measure multiple times on different days if your finger size changes with temperature or swelling
Measure at the same time of day you normally wear rings (often later in the day)
Measure the finger you’ll wear the ring on (sizes can differ between fingers)
If between sizes, choose the size that allows comfortable sliding over the knuckle and a snug fit when worn
For wide bands, consider sizing up slightly for comfort
For thick or heavy stones, consider sizing up slightly to prevent binding
For temporary sizing, use a ring adjuster or sizing beads (for minor changes only)
