How To Draw Stitch Drawing?

Draw a horizontal guideline for the fabric baseline

Sketch two parallel rows of stitches as light guide lines

Draw a short vertical segment for the first stitch height

Add a diagonal stitch line crossing the vertical segment

Form an “X” shape for the stitch by drawing the crossing diagonal back to the opposite side

Repeat the stitch shape across the row at even spacing

Connect the stitches with small curved or straight segments to match the stitch style

Add the second row below, offset slightly to create the stitch ladder effect

Repeat the same stitch pattern in the second row

Reinforce the stitch outlines with darker pencil/pen lines

Add small gaps or overlaps between stitches to show separation

Shade lightly under the stitch lines to suggest depth (optional)

Erase guide lines and clean up edges

Add final line thickness consistency across all stitches
