Open WhatsApp on your iPhone
Open the chat where you want to send the GIF
Tap the plus icon or the attachment icon next to the message box
Tap Photo & Video Library
Select the GIF from your Photos app
If needed, tap GIF at the bottom of the screen
Tap Send
To search for a GIF, open the chat
Tap the sticker icon or GIF option in the message area
Tap GIF
Enter a keyword in the search bar
Tap the GIF you want to send
Tap Send
To send a GIF from Safari or another app
Save the GIF to your iPhone Photos app
Open WhatsApp and the chat
Tap the attachment icon
Tap Photo & Video Library
Select the saved GIF
Tap Send
To convert a short video into a GIF
Open the chat
Tap the attachment icon
Choose a short video from your library
Trim it if needed
Tap the GIF option if available
Tap Send
